Music Video: Aaron Hotchner, "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)"

So I uploaded this video a while ago, but YouTube told me it recognized copyrighted material and it wouldn't show it. So I just left it there; recently while viewing my profile I realized it was visible. YAY! So here it is, for all who are interested, an Aaron Hotchner video to Josh Groban's "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)". Because he is, and he shouldn't. And I love this song.

Note: This video was made before season four finale, and all of season five. There are no spoilers for anything past the last few episodes of season four.

So. The banners that have kept me busy today. I think I might like making banners more than icons. So much more space to work with. And so much less need for them on LJ. :(

Anyway.

Some Reid because someone requested them on the CMF Board. Strange, isn't it, how Reid isn't at all my favourite character but I still seem to end up making so much fan art related to him... so, six Reid banners (three basic, then the same ones with text), under the cut here:

And the ones I spent most of today thinking about. Hotch, from "Faceless, Nameless". Seven total, same as with the Reid ones. There is the "base" and then one with text, except for the first one. The first one and the last one were inspired by BlackNightRebirth's phenomenal Hotch music video to "Broken" by Lifehouse, and, of course, Thomas Gibson's performance in "Faceless, Nameless". Coincidentally, the music video just reappeared on YouTube today, after over half a year of being taken down. It isn't the best of her music videos, technically speaking, but it was one of the first I watched, and the clips and the song used have always affected me very strongly. Never so much as right now.

I'm making banners and icons (banners will probably be done far more quickly than icons) from "Faceless, Nameless", but in the meantime, I need to be extremely excited about Michael Buble. Because he's just so damn happy, which I need right now. I have been listening to his new single nonstop since it first showed up on YouTube a few weeks ago, I lovelovelove it. Listen to it. Love it. Now. :P

Aaaaaaand today I saw for the first time the "preview" for his new CD, and I'm even more happy. All the songs sound like I'm going to love them, and Michael is so cute. I love his, "I think one half of me is really a good kid, and the other half... you know..." :P *Loves.*

MICHAEL BUBLE YOU ARE AMAZING! I mean, he's good looking, he's funny, he's a GREAT singer, and he's Canadian. What more could a girl ask for?!

Plus, last night on CSI (which I watched for the first time since Grissom left), Sara was back, and she was so happy, and she mentioned Grissom, and it was wonderful. Don't know what was going on with the rest of the episode (was rewatching "Faceless, Nameless" during commercials and non-Sara parts, aka Laurence Fishburne parts), but the Sara bits were wonderful. Favourite part ever -

Catherine: You just used a baseball metaphor.
Sara: Apparently being married means you have to try and share your spouse's interests.
Helen: :D :D :D :D

Plus, watching Nick, terrified and shaking, picking up his very own tarantula. I was mad at first, when I saw the preview, I didn't want him being Grissom, but the shaking and the terror made me evilly happy. Plus the fact that he was reading "How to Care For Your Arachnid". :P Grissom, he is not.

So endeth my happy!post. No raining on my parade, please.

Heyo, so I can't do any of the fancy wallpaper stuff you see, where you cut out a person from a picture and stick them into a different background, I'm just not that good. But, I do like making wallpapers, all symmetrical and square-like, so here are a few I've made recently.

These are the first two I ever made, a few months ago. First one wasn't that great, I love the picture 'cause it's Hotch, but it's not my favourite at all, but I'd just gotten hooked on "Mayhem" and couldn't find any pictures (stuff like this requires time and cultivation of your obsession :P), and I'd never used photo editors before, or paint for something serious... so I don't like it much. I like the basic idea of it... maybe I'll work with it again later. Who knows. We'll see. Anyway, I've only got the one size of both of them, but I figure it's easy enough to use for bigger sizes, you just make the background around it black and there you go, it looks like it was made that size. :P

SSA Doctor Spencer Reid I made for a friend on the CMF Board, after she saw my previous Hotch one and wanted one of her favourite character.

The Thomas Gibson ones are all in the last few days. My favourite is the last one. I got a bit carried away... :P

So, here I am, my first LiveJournal account... I have no clue what I'm doing.

I'll probably use this for posting avatars, definitely Criminal Minds, Hotch, Thomas Gibson and Dharma & Greg and hopefully some Grissom and William Petersen ones as well. Videos, perhaps, though I've got 'em up on YouTube for the time being.

All that said, everything hinges on one thing: Me being able to figure out how to work it all. I'm going to have to do some experimenting and snooping around, perhaps begging some friends for help. We'll see. In the meantime... not much to look at. Here's hoping it'll change soon. :)
